Description

Outdoor technical rooms or containment structures designed to house all the components required for a thermal and electrical cogeneration system, suitable for outdoor installation in compliance with the Italian Fire Prevention Regulation D.M. 13-07-11.

The prefabricated modules can accommodate internal combustion engines complete with exhaust gas silencing systems, buffer storage tanks, heat exchangers, expansion vessels and all hydraulic and electrical accessories required for system operation, all integrated into a single solution.

Cabling and installation of switchboards made to design and customised according to specific technical requirements

Hydraulic assembly of manifolds made and sized according to the required system capacity

Powder-coated tubular iron base with integrated lifting system, suitable for both crane slings and foklift handling.

Sharp or rounded powder-coated aluminium perimeter profiles and joints

 

Details

Thanks to our in-house engineering capabilities, we can customise cogeneration plant rooms according to specific system requirements, facilitating integration with different plant configurations and providing a high degree of design flexibility.

  • Structure

    External powder-coated sheet metal outer casing with 1 mm galvanised sheet metal sandwich type panels insulated with rock wool sheets. Panel thickness from 25 to 80 mm. The cabinet is manifactured entirely from non-combustible materials.

  • Internal insulation

    of the sandwich panels internally insulated with non-combustible rock wool, fire reaction class A1 in accordance with EN 13501-1, density 100 kg/m³, applied to all walls. Insulation thickness ranges from 20 to 80 mm.

  • Ventilation openings

    are designed in accordance with Ministerial Decree 13-07-11, complete with rodent-proof mesh.

  • Openings

    Doors are provided for system inspection and maintenance. Hinged doors are fitted with hinges and lockable handles.

  • Perimeter rubber seals

    applied to provide protection against weather conditions.

  • The storage cabinet

    is a modular product made manufactured from weather-resistant materials. Its clean, attractive appearance is enhanced by powder-coated anti-glare sheet metal panels.

  • The external finish

    consists of a thermosetting polyester resin-based powder coating, available in a range of colours to minimise the visual impact on the building. The coating provides high resistance to weathering, with selected pigments designed to ensure stability under exposure to light and heat. Resistance to acetic acid salt spray: 1,000 hours, in accordance with Qualicoat specifications (ISO 9227).

    Manufacture of a prefabricated outdoor module complete with an endothermic engine co-generator fuelled by methane, an 800 L inertial storage tank and hydraulic circuits, circulation pumps, a ventilation system to maintain a constant ambient temperature, and related service equipment for the heating system.
